Plasma cleaning is applied to both the positive and negative sides of the battery cell and the end plate to clean the surface, increase surface roughness, and improve the adhesion of glue or adhesive.

During the production process of automotive power lithium battery cells, unevenness, bending, or even twisting may occur, resulting in phenomena such as virtual welding, false welding, and short circuits during welding. After flattening the tabs, plasma cleaning can remove impurities such as organic matter and fine particles, increase surface roughness, and improve the reliability of subsequent laser welding.
