DESCRIPTION
Rotray Drum Plasma CleanerNE-PE05X can be used to treat various powders and powder materials, such as carbon black, carbon nanotubes, catalyst powders, mica powders, silicon dioxide, polymer powders and other materials for surface activation modification. The high-energy particles in the plasma are used to bombard the powder surface, which changes the morphology of the powder surface and introduces various active groups. The plasma treatment can remove some impurities adsorbed on the surface, thereby achieving the purpose of improving the hydrophilicity, dispersibility, compatibility, fluidity, catalyticity and other purposes of the powder.
Rotray Drum Plasma CleanerNE-PE05X can increase the bonding strength between metal and plastic. This hydrophilization is made possible by low-pressure plasma treatment. The treatment parameters strongly depend on the particle size of the powder. Thermal damage to the powder is excluded since the process temperature remains low the whole treatment time. Likewise, basic properties of the powder such as melting temperature, degree of crystallisation and molar weight are not affected.Via a wide range of variable process parameters, many different coat properties can be achieved.
NE-PE05X is used as an innovative option. It can be used as an additive in rubber, resulting in an increased tear propagation strength. Powdered materials have a large specific surface area and are easy to agglomerate. Plasma treatment requires a reaction in a sealed device under low pressure, which increases the difficulty of plasma treatment of powdered materials.
The biggest advantage of NE-PE05X to modify nanopowders is that it can optimize the physical and chemical structure of the nanoparticle surface without affecting the original properties of the nanoparticles. In addition, plasma treatment is a dry treatment, unlike traditional chemical treatment that causes problems such as solvent residues, and is a new method for energy conservation and environmental protection.
